Alisha Frazee, Consultant - Government and Public Relations Alisha’s
experience in government relations, and her diverse educational and
professional background, brings a unique variety of skills to Strategic
Communications, LLC. Her ability to cultivate strong
relationships between the client, the community, and policy makers
defines her as a key asset to the SCLLC team.
At SCLLC,
Alisha keeps clients abreast of proposed legislation and regulation
that may impact their organization, and then helps advocate on their
behalf for the strategic position that protects their interests.
Alisha’s
experience with the traditional energy industry and her involvement in
the more recent move towards biofuels and renewables is a critical
foundation for much of SCLLC’s Government and Public Relations work in
the energy sector. This expertise is an intrinsic advantage as Alisha
monitors news and conversations related to clients and their
industries. She then develops and executes strategic communications
plans, including media and community outreach, to incorporate two-way
dialogue with key audiences.
Prior to joining SCLLC, Alisha
worked as a government and public relations liaison and membership
specialist for the Massachusetts Oilheat Council, a trade association
serving heating oil, biofuel and diesel fuel dealers and associated
businesses across the Commonwealth. Her experience includes legislative
research, testimony preparation, client-media relations, crisis
aversion and abatement, and advocacy.
Originally from New
York’s Capital Region, Alisha lived for many years in Boston, before
returning to the Albany, NY area. Alisha has a BA in English from
Worcester State College in Worcester, MA. She also studied law at
Suffolk University in Boston.
