Community Partnerships & Affiliations Although our clients are based throughout the country, Central New York is home. SCLLC professionals are committed to the local community through a number of community organizations. We are part of New York’s Creative Core, and help to communicate the regional strengths of Central Upstate New York.In addition to our membership in the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce, we are members of the Turnaround Management Association and the Manufacturers Association of Central New York (MACNY), and strong supporters of Leadership Greater Syracuse. As alumni of Syracuse University – both the Newhouse School of Public Communications and the Maxwell School of Citizenship and Public Affairs – we maintain close connections with faculty, staff, students and other alumni. Michael serves as an adjunct professor at Newhouse and we occasionally have opportunities for student interns. Michael also teaches in the Masters in Communications Management program at McMaster University’s DeGroote School of Business in Ontario, Canada. Through both direct financial and in-kind contributions, Strategic Communications provides charitable support and assistance equal to more than 10% of its net income each year.
